The Possibility of Language.
Internal Tensions in Wittgenstein’s Tractatus (2005),

In this book I propose a new interpretation of
Wittgenstein’s Tractatus in which
tensions between the tractarian picture theory,
truth-functions theory and the theory of expression are stressed. I defend the
view that Wittgenstein was aware at the time of the Tractatus of some of such tensions. In the book I also put forward
an original interpretation of the notion of possibility in the Tractatus. [further info]

I developed an interpretation of the Tractatus, in dialogue with Frege and
Russell’s logical and linguistic theories. The last chapter is an examination
of the possibilist interpretation of the Tractatus by Raymond Bradley.
