I obtained the Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Murcia in 2007 and in 2012 I obtained the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the same university with Cum Laude and European mention. Currently, I am a civil servant as engineer at the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP). My doctoral studies included a stay at the University of Essex as associated researcher for 6 months. I have worked on several projects in both academia and industry. My main research interests include ambient intelligence and intelligent data analysis. I have co-authored over 20 publications in workshops, conferences, journals and books.
My main research interests are in ambient intelligence, artificial intelligence, machine learning, smart environments, activity recognition, energy-efficient buildings and ubiquitous computing. I have a strong background in these fields through my PhD studies and previous projects experience. I also have high experience in analysis and programming tools and the needed social and communication skills to work in a collaborative working team. In general, I love work with complex problems related to persons and real world scenarios in order to provide practical solutions which can be integrated and offer real benefits in our daily lives.
