Welcome to My Personal Page! My name is Gabriel Segura-López, born in Cartagena (Spain) in 1978, husband and father of three children. This page aims to share my academic and professional journey, as well as my contributions to teaching and research in the field of Nursing, with the goal of fostering knowledge exchange within the scientific community. My academic career began at the affiliated University School of Nursing in Cartagena, where I served as a Coordinating Lecturer for over 20 years. During this time, I taught key subjects such as Adult Nursing, History and Theory of Nursing, and Disability and Dependency, reinforcing my commitment to the comprehensive education of future healthcare professionals. In 2011, I obtained my PhD with the highest distinction (//Sobresaliente Cum Laude//) from the Complutense University of Madrid, through the "Health Care" doctoral programme of the Faculty of Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Podiatry. Currently, I hold the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at the University of Murcia, based in the Cartagena Deanery. My teaching work is enriched by my involvement in educational innovation initiatives as a member of the official group //Multidisciplinary Teaching Innovation in Care and Health (INDOMUCyS)//[[https://www.um.es/web/innovacion/gid/listado/gid?id=135]]. My focus includes clinical simulation, virtual learning, internationalisation, and the integration of emerging technologies in higher education.
