Quality of the Faculty and studies where he participates

        •  Accreditation for undergraduate studies for postgraduate and master studies

The EURO-INF International Quality stamp accredits the quality of Computer Science programs at European level and is awarded by the “European Quality Assurance Network for Informatics Education” (EQANIE) - http://www.eqanie.eu/pages/quality-label/accredited-programmes/. The EURO-INF stamp guarantees that study programs, equipment and staff meet high international quality standards.

        •  Institutional accreditation

The National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) of Spain has issued a favorable report on the Institutional Accreditation of the Faculty of Computer Science of the University of Murcia.

The Institutional Accreditation certifies the existence of effective quality management mechanisms that ensure the proper functioning of the degrees taught in the center. To obtain this certification, the Faculty has had to demonstrate that it has a certified internal quality management system, through the AUDIT program. In order to obtain this accreditation, this faculty previously obtained the renewal of all its degree and master degrees implemented within the European Higher Education Area and certified its Internal Quality Assurance System, which is a sign of its educational excellence and the quality of its processes.

In addition, this Faculty has the EURO-INF accreditation that recognizes that the studies of this centre widely meet the professional requirements in the field of Information Technology in the European Union environment. With this new accreditation, it can be said that this faculty has the "triad of quality".

ANECA launched the Institutional Accreditation programme by means of Royal Decrre 420/2015 as an alternative to the renewal model established in the ACREDITA programme in the quest to simplify this evaluation process, which requires many efforts for the universities and the evaluation agency.

The Faculty of Computer Science is the first centre of the University of Murcia to obtain the ANECA institutional accreditation. Moreover, together with the School of Computer Science of the University of Las Palmas, they thus become the first university centers of Computer Science to obtain this accreditation at national level.

        •  Institutional accreditation

The Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) that the Faculty of Computer Science of the University of Murcia is applying in all their qualifications has been recognised with the AUDIT stamp of the National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation (ANECA) of Spain in 2017. In this year, this Faculty becomes with this concession the only Spanish university centre with Computer Science degrees that has both the AUDIT stamp and the EURO-INF European Quality Accreditation.
