THE OELE PROJECT

The OeLe project was started a few years ago aiming at supporting the assessment of open question-based exams. The main objectives of OeLE are:

• Development of a platform based on Semantic Web Technologies for the design of evaluation tests

• Design of a methodology for evaluating courses in E-learning based on the use of semantically annotated questions, the knowledge extracted from the students' answers, metadata and the course ontology.

• Semantic management of assessment information to promote self-assessment and autonomous learning
