ABSTRACT
The goal of this project is to allow users to access,
retrieve and filter relevant web information according to their preferences
and needs. It is intended to obtain technologies to develop knowledge
portals taking into account the most relevant standards, as well as
to develop methods and tools to code structured digital contents and
to define and declare the semantics associated to them. Moreover, the
develoments of semantics-based tools for creating and accessing to knowledge
is pursued. For this purpose, methods and tools to derive semantic attributes
from web-based contents will be researched and developed. The results
of this research will be employed to build a regional tourism portal.

Development of an advanced knowledge technologies-based

Validation of the platform for building knowledge portals
through the construction of a regional tourism portal.
