entitled Mesh New and specify:
- The number of cells in z-direction
(Horizontal axis). Enter an integer from 3 to
250).
- The number of cells in x-direction
(Vertical axis). Enter an integer from 3 to 170.
- The cell size Delta L in mm.
(Enter a positive real number. It can be changed
later.
- Click OK or <Enter>

Open |
Open opens
existing binary files that have a tlm file
extension. Such files contain data describing a complete
TLM structure and simulation results; they have been
created previously by using either the Save or the
Save As function of MEFiSTo-2D . |
Save |
Save saves the
active data and simulation result to a binary file using
the currently active filename with a tlm file
extension. If the currently active file is Untitled,
this function is the same as Save As. A data file
created by this function can be opened with the Open
function described above. |
Save As |
Save As saves
the active document with a new name that must be
specified by the user. There is no need to enter a file
extension since the Simulator enforces tlm as the
file extension. |
Save Johns Matrix |
If the program has
been set up in the Sampling Mode menu to generate
a Johns Matrix (see Section 5.4), this feature allows you
to save the generated Johns Matrix function in an ASCII
file with a joh file extension. There is no need
to enter a file extension since the Simulator enforces
joh as the file extension. A Johns Matrix function
that conforms to this format can be used subsequently by
the program to simulate a boundary property. This item is
enabled only if a Johns Matrix has been generated. |
Save Text Report |
Save Text Report
saves the active data and simulation results to an ASCII
file with a rep file extension. There is no need
to enter a file extension since the Simulator enforces rep
as the file extension. An ASCII report file cannot be
read by the Simulator, however it gives the user access
to the structure data and simulation results in text
format. This item is enabled only if a structure has been
entered. |
All Other Items |
Print, Print
Preview, Print Setup, as well as the list of
files previously opened and the Exit command are
standard functions that are described in the Microsoft
Windows Manual. Note that whenever you place the cursor
on one of these items, a brief comment appears in the
status bar at the bottom of the MEFiSTo-2D window. |
