SHORT CURRICULUM VITAE

Dr. Alfonso Valero Valenzuela is currently Head of Department in the Faculty of Sport Sciences. He is a professor at University since 2002. His main subjects are “Track and Field Foundations” and “Methodological Aspects in Physical Activity and Sport”. He is in a leadership role in the physical education area, and contributes to a diverse range of research projects, predominantly in physical activity and sports instructional area. He has worked on funded projects for local authorities, with primary and secondary schools. He has considerable experience in secondary schools and university, with almost 20 years teaching experience at various levels including within schools, secondary education, and in Universities, undergraduate and postgraduate level, and the supervision of doctoral candidates.
