Felix J. Garcia-Clemente received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Murcia, Spain. He is Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering of the same university. His teaching includes courses in computer networks, network management, ubiquitous computing, and mobile device programming.

Felix's major research interests focus on Cybersecurity, Distributed Management of Networks and Services and Interaction Systems. He is co-author of over 100 scientific publications (including journal and conference papers) and an active member on different national and international research projects. He has also been a supervisor on different projects of technology transfer in areas related to advanced services like location-based services, distributed management, and industrial automation.

Felix is a coauthor of EjsS, a member of UNEDLabs and a collaborator in the Open Source Physics project and Open Source Physics @ Singapore. He was a visiting scholar at UNED, EPFL, NTU-NIE and Stanford University.

Felix has been the Director of Technology Transfer Office (TTO) of the University of Murcia and also the vice-dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, the programme coordinator of the degree in Computer Science and the coordinator of the M.Sc. and Ph.D. “New Technologies in Computer Science” programme at the University of Murcia.
