I got my Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s degree in Biodiversity and Ecosystems at the University of Vigo (Spain). I am interested in biodiversity conservation in marine ecosystems, particularly in reef fish ecology and the establishment of marine protected areas as tools for human use regulations and species conservation. My current work focuses on the recovery of apex predators in marine protected areas, with emphasis on the temporal recovery trajectories and the ecological mechanisms underlying them.
