I work on security and trustworthiness for 6G networks, distributed cloud-to-edge systems, and AI-driven network automation — as Task Leader in the European flagship project HEXA-X-II, with contributions oriented to 3GPP standardization.

About

A brief overview.

I hold a PhD in Telematic Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Cum Laude, International Mention, 2022), earned at IMDEA Networks Institute under the supervision of Prof. Vincenzo Mancuso and Prof. Marco Ajmone Marsan. Since May 2022 I have been a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Murcia, within the Intelligent Systems and Telematics group led by Prof. Antonio Skarmeta.

My research focuses on how we can make next-generation mobile networks — particularly 6G — secure by design, trustworthy in operation, and resilient under stress. This involves policy-based security management, end-to-end trust frameworks across distributed cloud-to-edge environments, and the integration of AI/ML for network automation.

Before joining Murcia, I spent six months as a visiting scholar at Paderborn University (Germany, 2019), working with Prof. Falko Dressler on opportunistic communication paradigms. Earlier in my career I combined academia with industry, working as Testing Analyst and Project Manager at Telefónica de España (2014–2016) before starting my doctoral studies.
