Research

Pablo de Vera is researcher of the “Condensed Matter” group, within the line of research in theory and simulation of the interaction of radiation with matter. Pablo is particularly interested in the interaction of radiation with biological media.

Pablo is currently the principal investigator of the projects entitled Nanoscale Biodamage induced by Swift Ions: towards a detailed Modelling and Simulation (Ministry of Science and Innovation) and Charged Particles against Cancer: Detailed Simulations for Better Use (Séneca Foundation), in which he works together with Professor Rafael Garcia-Molina (Department of Physics, University of Murcia) and Professor Isabel Abril (Department of Applied Physics, Universitat d'Alacant), as well as with other international colleagues in Italy, Greece and Germany.
