Virginia Sandoval Cánovas

Pre-doctoral studient

I am a graduate in environmental sciences of the University of Murcia, master in wildlife management in the veterinary area of the UMU. I am interested in the study of the role of marine protected areas as a management tool for the conservation of marine ecosystems.
I am currently working on the monitoring of the Cabo de Palos – Islas Hormigas MPA. My work at this time is focused on assessing recreational fishing pressure on this marine protected area.
