In general, courses in Business and Banking English are dedicated to the acquisition of much theory (vocabulary, concepts, structures..).This programme has been designed to combine, as far as possible, theoretical and practical activities. All those units that bear the asterisk (*) are purely practical, aimed at getting the student to listen and speak. The others, on the contrary, are not entirely theoretical, but combine theory at the beginning and practice at the end, sometimes introducing the concepts and terminology to be used in the practical lessons. This has been done to give the student the opportunity to exercise under tuition what he/she will have to do with the language in real life. The teacher expects the student to cooperate and be an active part of the class and of his/her learning process. His/her attitude and cooperation will be valued at the end of the course as much as the final exam.
